Lewis Del Mar and their debut album Indie | Thursday 15th September 2016 | Christina Lewis Del Mar Dingwalls Lewis Del Mar are ready to release their self-titled debut album on 7th October. Lewis Del Mar - lifelong friends Danny Miller and Max Harwood - only burst onto the scene around a year ago and they've already made a remarkable impact. Their debut EP has brought the Rockaway Beach band to the attention of some of music’s most influential tastemakers such as Annie Mac, Phil Taggart, Huw Stephens, John Kennedy and Lauren Laverne. They recently made their U.S TV debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden and have played standout performances at SXSW, Lollapalooza, The Great Escape, Dot To Dot Festival and Reading & Leeds, as well as packed out shows in London. The highly anticipated ten-track album builds on the hype of the Loud(y) EP and proves that the band really are something special. Track opener ‘Such Small Scenes’ sets the tone for the duration, before launching into recent triumphs '14 Faces’ and ‘Painting (Masterpiece)’. The record effortlessly moves between up-tempo, rockier numbers and more melodic, softer tracks, without losing that unique fusion of acoustic and electronica that is fast becoming their signature sound. Catch the guys at Dingwalls on November 21st and pre-order their album here.
