Save The Macbeth!

London’s beloved The Macbeth is under the threat of being shut down! Sign the petition and help save one of Hoxton’s best music venues.
Never judge a book by its cover. Don’t let the bright blue and white little building’s exterior fool you, because this cute looking venue is deceptive, it is the place to be for one untamed night full of dance parties, live music, and fun, fun, fun! Blaring great music and hosting live performances for amazing artists, DJs, and bands like Florence and the Machine, the Gallows, Annie Mac, Pete Doherty, The XX, and even Franz Ferdinand. Pool tables, smoking terraces, big stages, and a rocking dance-floor are all included which make one’s experience at The Macbeth a wild night.
However, this venue faces possible extermination. The Hoxton local government is attempting to build nine residential flats behind and next to The Macbeth, which is detrimental to the existence of The Macbeth and its awesome parties and performances. The result of having residents living next to The Macbeth is the possibility of noise complaints, and what does that mean? The Macbeth will have to turn down the music, no longer host amazing performances, and have a curfew. What fun is that? It is not fun, and that will be the end of visitors, the cut of finanaces and the end to the one and only The Macbeth. But you can help! Sign the petition and share with your friends!
