Romania's favourite festival returns for its fourth instalment from July 14th - 17th.
The four-day festival takes place at the spectacular Transylvanian domain of the Bánffy Castle, near Cluj-Napoca in Romania. Since its first edition in 2013, the festival was shortlisted every year for the Best Medium Sized Festival Category at the European Festival Awards. Combining an eclectic musical line-up with innovative production, it's a unique festival experience.
This year’s headliners include Sigur Rós, who'll be making their debut in Romania; eight-time Grammy winner Skrillex; Paul Kalkbrenner; and Bring Me The Horizon. Bastille, Gorgon City, Enter Shikari, Rusko, Flux Pavilion, Pan-Pot, and Camo & Krooked are just some of the other huge names on the bill, and reggae fans will have plenty of live acts to enjoy also.
It's not just about the music though, with a tech park, gaming area, fashion area, barber shop, mobile library and yoga classes on offer for festivalgoers to enjoy, as well as a food court featuring over thirty vendors. With something for everyone and four day tickets coming in at just £70, Electric Castle is one of the best value festivals of the summer.
