The Government REALLY Want To Read Your Mail
The Government is attempting to force through a new law that will destroy messaging services such as WhatsApp and Apple’s iMessage in their current capacity.
An ‘update’ from the previous Snoopers Charter that was rejected by MP’s for being too authoritarian, this new law has had barely any amendments made to it.
Charity ‘Privacy International’ stated that ‘It would shameful to even consider these changes cosmetic’

Despite this, the Home Office stands by its claim that the Bill represents "world-leading" legislation. It is truly world-leading, for all the wrong reasons.’
The bill forces internet providers to retain a year's worth of internet history for ALL users which can be accessed at ANY time by the ‘security services’.
It also weakens encryption technology and allows the ‘security services’ to eavesdrop on private conversations made through FaceTime, Skype and other such devices.
