Artist of the Month: Raging Fyah
Raging Fyah is our reggae pick for artist of the month. The reggae group is undeniably one of the most talented and dynamic on the Jamaican music scene. Having formed in 2006, the members include Anthony Watson, Courtland White, Demar Gayle, Delroy Hamilton, Kumar Brent and Mahlon Moving.
Having signed with VP Records for a multi-album venture, as well as writing and producing alongside the reggae legend that is Richie Spice to produce “Black Woman”, they are currently preparing for their next album, “Everlasting". The group aims to reignite the flames of positivity in the music industry.
Writing their own songs, they take influence from purpose, passion and life experiences and blend them into a roots rock reggae flavour to give the listener a fresh experience through music.
As a result of their efforts, the melodies the group has created have often been compared to some of the most well-known artists in the genre, including Peter Tosh, Third World and even Bob Marley.
Determined to change the world one note at a time, bring people together and spread light in dark times and places, Raging Fyah is definitely one to watch in the times to come.
