The Rave Story - 3 Day Seminar & All Night Party - Club Aquarium: 24th-26th Feb 2016
Starting on Wednesday and running for three days, ‘The Rave Story’ is a journey through the early rave scene, as told by the pioneers and characters that know it best.
The event is being held at Club Aquarium (Old Street) with free entryif you arrive between 11am and 6pm each day, complete with a fully licensed bar. The seminar is limited to 150 seats, arrive early so you don’t miss out.
Art Gallery & Pop Up Old School Record Store: 11am Each Day
An art gallery capturing the creativity of the early rave scene, featuring original paintings by Pez, Junior Tomlin, Kaos and Samantha Williams. Alongside flyers, previously unseen photographs, memorabilia and a pop up record shop. Provided by Jerome Hill and Dan Jay.
Seminar: 7pm Each Evening
Seminar curated by Billy Daniel Bunter and chaired by Uncle Dugs.
Features talks from some of the most influential characters of the 1988-1992 rave scene.
Wednesday Seminar: Original Warehouse Stories
Featuring: Paul Ibiza, Joe Labrynth, Wayne Anthony – Genesis, Grooverider, Fabio, Richard Raindance and Paul Black Box.
Thursday Seminar: The Most Influential Pirate Radio Pioneers
Featuring: Eastman, Brockie, Funky Flirt, Warlock, Alan - Demolition Crew (Eruption FM), Daz Cyndicut FM, Uncle Dugs and Kid Jay.
