Teenager Invents Sleeping Bags for Homeless and Gives them Jobs
A teenager in Ireland has invented a rain and fireproof sleeping bag for the homeless and is also hiring them to promote and manufacture them for her.
15-Year-Old Emily Duffy came up with the idea after living on the streets of Dublin for one day in order to experience life as the homeless do and raise money for charity. with highly reflective water and fireproof surfaces, the bags also have velcro straps instead of zippers for ease of access.
In addition to helping the homeless, the teenager has also provided them with jobs, making the bags available at €10 at a local service centre in Dublin.
