If You Don't Say 'Europe' It Doesn't Count Other | Tuesday 16th February 2016 | Tom Prince William E.U Referendum Prince William apparently promoted the U.K staying in the E.U, however, a spokesman for Kensington Palace denied this, claiming he didn’t use the word ‘Europe’ in his speech at the Foreign Office. Making a speech to diplomats at the Foreign Office, Prince William said that Britain's ability to work with other nations was ‘the bedrock of our security and prosperity’, comments that led to analysts claim it was an announcement of support for the E.U. However, for one reason or another, Kensington Palace commented on speculation, ‘This speech was not about Europe. He does not use the word Europe once.’ The Palace responded. It seems that at the moment it’s not too popular to announce your support for the E.U.
