Other | Monday 15th February 2016 | Arash

A restaurant in Israel is looking to cut loose the tension between the Jews and the Arabs by offering a 50% discount to Jewish and Arab patrons who dine together.

Since the Gaza Conflict in 2014, tensions have been high between the Arab and Jewish communities, and the restaurant, “Tzafrir,” in the town of Kfar Vitkin is trying to bridge the gap and bring people together with their offer.

Business has been booming and the restaurant’s campaign has been an overall success so far, decreasing tensions between the two communities, they are even urging other restaurants to take initiative from their promotions in order to further lessen the conflicts and promote peace.
