Freshness from Fracture, Zero T and RMS

Drum and Bass | Sunday 14th February 2016 | Arren

Huge week for drum & bass, especially on the darker front. Bold basslines and rolling beats are a plenty thanks to these new releases!

Fracture - Hype Tracks EP [Exit]

Master in the art of breaks, Fracture is back on dBridge’s Exit. Experimental as ever, the producer fiddles basslines, drum patterns and samples brilliantly making an excellent 4 tracks.

Fierce / Zero T & Nico - Going Clear / Profile [Quarantine]

Three huge names bring the noise for Quarantine. Fierce and Zero T combine their efforts for Going Clear, a heavyweight roller with a fat bassline. Following is Nico with Profile taking things a little heavier, with industrial sized everything!

Edward Oberon & Paul T - Out Of The Dark / Surrender [V]

Back together again, these two together is a match made in heaven. Together they provide V a sick two tracked release. Out of the Dark is a smooth soulful jammer, Surrender sounds like its evil, twisted cousin. Heavy!

Battery - NoNo EP [Metalheadz]

Stepping up to the infamous Metalheadz for a big debut is Battery. It’s a bold EP, with beefy basslines and a psychedelic feel about the samples and sounds. Fitting nicely with the imprints sample sound.

State of Mind & Black Sun Empire - Thug [Blackout Music]

A collision between these two would only ever end is one way, the impact from this tune will leave most places in ruin.

Optical & BTK - Let It Go [Dutty Audio]

Another combination that leads to devastatingly strong music. Big bassed, technical beats that won’t wait for you to be ready.

DJ Limited - Your Love / Everyday [Life]

Sigma’s Life imprint have snatched these two cuts from upcoming producer, DJ Limited. The a side starts in truly epic fashion with stadium sized synths and a vocal hook that's primed for the radio. On the flip side, it's a underground jungle rattler with a warm bassline. Much like the label bosses, DJ Limited shows his versatility as a producer. Keep your eyes on this one!

Mob Tactics - Get Dirty / Shark Tank [Viper]

Its the duo’s second outing on Viper, and they stepped up nicely with two tracks primed and ready to trash the dance.

RMS - Ghetto Messiah [Back to the Jungle]

The second release from Hybrid’s new Back to the Jungle, and it lives up to the ethos perfectly. A jungle bomb, with the deepest bassline, slickest drum pattern and great sample. Hybrid remixes the track turning it into a dancefloor destroyer.

Denial / Andy Skopes / DBR - Missions (feat. Blackeye) / Poison Light [Dispatch]

Denial lands on Dispatch with two killer collaborations. Both equally dark and technical. Missions is a dark beat that could go at you any moment. Poison Light takes it a little harder with a beefer bassline, and a little bounce in its step. Both killer tracks for your darker side.
