2016 is looking to be a promising year for tech users and enthusiasts. Here are a few gadgets and bits of tech that might spark your interest.
Oculus Rift release PC bundles – That’s right, the highly anticipated virtual reality headset has finally released PC bundles with the device to get us all immersed in the online.
The bundles include the Oculus Rift headset, remote and sensor as well as an Xbox One controller and two titles in Lucky’s Tale! And EVE: Valkyrie Founder’s Pack, along with the PC of your choice.
Bundles start at just over £1,000, which may seem like a steep price to pay, but considering the cutting edge technology that you’ll be acquiring, it’ll be well worth the price.
BMW releases new 760i xDrive – Car buffs should be pleased about this one. Officially unveiled today, the 760i xDrive is BMW’s first M Performance-tuned 7 Series, if you’re not sure what that means I’ll tell you right now.
With the luxury and comfort that you might expect from BMW, they’ve also added in their most powerful V12 engine, meaning that in addition to relaxing driving, the xDrive also sounds, handles and generally performs like a sports car, providing comfort and power all rolled into one.
VFILES to Release LED Clothing Line – One of the most iconic destinations for fashion in the digital age has showcased its LED clothing line that will hit the shelves in the upcoming months, hoping to do away with some of the gimmicky LED clothes worn by celebrities.
From hoodies to puffer jackets and even vests, the futuristic clothing line gives the wearer a choice of colours so switch up the look.
But by far the coolest feature has to be the Music Mode feature, which allows the clothing to pulsate to the beat of any tune you play, and even your voice! Besides the shirts, they will also introduce snapbacks and backpacks.
First look at Samsung’s unannounced Galaxy S7 Model - Set to release on 21st February, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is shaping up to be a sleek phone with plenty of capabilities.
With curved edges, a 5.1 inch screen and running on Android’s latest update, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the design looks sleek and easy to use.
Samsung are also apparently rumoured to be reintroducing the microSD card slot for expanded memory capacity, and in addition to the 12 megapixel camera, they will also include an “always on” feature that lets you look at notifications without turning on the home screen. If you're still unsure, Sumsung are also releasing the Galaxy S7 Edge with a bigger screen and similar capabilities as the previous version.
