Monday just got a whole lot better with fresh new music from Culture Shock, Ed:it, Toronto is Broken, C.I.A Recordings, Dez and Insomniax.
Culture Shock – Transit EP [Ram]
Culture Shock is back with a four tracked EP for Ram. Once again this producer demonstrates how versatile he is, with each track being completely different from the next.
Ed:it – Pathways EP [Shogun Audio]
His first EP since signing exclusively with Shogun, Nottingham native Ed:it has dropped 4 tracks that prove just why he’s joined the warriors. All liquid rollers with deep industrial textures, his signature sound down to a tee.
Toronto is Broken – Voyager II / Want You [Sub Slayers]
Toronto is Broken ups the filth levels on this release, with his unique twisted bass sounds.
Various Artists – Classified V2 EP [C.I.A]
Total Science’s imprint is back with another edition of their new compilation series, Classified. A great selection of the slickest liquid, more technical drum & bass sound from artists including Villem & Mcleod, Total Science & FD and an Ulterior Motive remix of Ed:it and Pennygiles’ record Set Theory.
Dez – Invaders [Radius]
He’s at the front of the future jump up scene and one half of the BassBrothers, the upcoming producer Dez released his latest sonic assault on Hazard’s Radius imprint. It’s clear-cut, precision, rude boy bass.
Insomniax – Uridium / Longest Night [Viper]
This dynamic duo dropped two very different tracks, Uridium aimed for the floors with its high energy, also taking serious vibes from Andy C and Shimon’s classic Quest. Meanwhile Longest Night is a smooth roller with a bulky bassline.
Various Artists – Invisible 018 [Invisible]
Noisia’s Invisible Recordings are back again with this hefty compilation EP. Each track is filth, with deep bass tones, cinematic effects and the robotic drum patterns: all the perfect ingredients for some intense neurofunk goodness.
Audioholic – Analogous EP [Omni Music]
A varied EP of different sounds and styles from Audioholic, with nods towards funk, soul and breaks.
Code 906 – Deprivation EP [Metro Audio]
Code 906 takes it deep for Russian label, Metro Audio. The 4 tracked EP is dark and sinister throughout with dark basslines ready to shake those warehouses.
Paradox – Breaker [Paradox Music]
The Indian drumfunk legend is back with these two fresh tracks, with some serious sampling skills.
