Indie |
Wednesday 11th November 2015 |
After some time away from the sun, Bloc Party are back. Over 10 years since the release of 'Silent Alarm' Bloc Party on the comeback, albeit slightly different. With Louis Bartle and Justin Harris replacing Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong, Bloc Party hope to be making back to the top. With their fifth album 'Hyms' dropping next January, the band are on tour for the next month or two showcasing their new sound.
Mixing in some old classics such 'Hunting for Witches' and 'Banquet', Bloc Party are looking to introduce a more techno sound to their music with tracks such as 'The Love Within'. Fans will still be hoping to hear some vintage indie, however, with a new brand of electro punk it seems might Bloc Party might be coming back with a bang....watch this space!
Your first chance to catch a glimpse of the reconfigured Bloc Party will be at St John's in Hackney Chruch on 4th December, before they start a few European dates and finally return back to England early next year. Let's hope they come back with some classics - but also some new tracks to keep us going in the future!
