DJ Hybrid Debuts Mixed Origins

Out on his own Audio Addict Records, Hybrid’s Mixed Origins lives up to its name.
Every release from this upcoming producer has been sick. Fittingly named DJ Hybrid, he produces a fusion between jungle and jump up. His fresh approach has got many going mad, and after picking up two awards from the We Love Jungle Awards this summer this album is the latest step in his journey to the top.
Now presenting his debut album, Mixed Origins. Hybrid once again confirms his talents as a producer with an album that looks deep into the heart of drum & bass. It brings out the very best in all styles of the diverse genre, and as promised it is not just a collection of singles.
The album, aptly named, takes us on a proper journey through his drum & bass style, all the while making it reminiscent of the past. Each track is a world to its own, making this album an incredible listen. It’s not all dancefloor smashers, the album concept allows for Hybrid to really show off his skills so across the 14 tracks you get a real sense of the music mind behind it.
That said most would still absolute smash the clubs, the unquestionable energy that flows seamlessly from his music captures the raw spirit of the genre that we all know and love. This energy is something that he manages to get into all of his releases, not only in this album – it’s a sound that is uniquely his, and is imprinted into any style he pulls out the bag.
