Kanye West's American Psycho Inspired Short Film

In order to promote his latest debut album, Kanye West has looked to one of the most famous thriller films ever made for inspiration.
In the build up to the highly anticipated album, Yeezus, Kanye West created an American Psycho-inspired short film as a promotional tactic. The film regularly features Jonathon Cheban and Scott Disick from 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'. Kanye's production imitates one of the most famous clips from the film, with Disick playing Christian Bale’s character, Norman Bates, and Cheban sitting in for Jared Leto. I am pretty sure this short film would be funnier if I knew more about these reality tv stars. However, watching some reality, b-list celebrities butcher each other is a good way of promoting an album. I wonder if this promotional video parallels Kanye’s thought process when he was producing Yeezus.
