Introducting Houstrikes, a new venture from Dosem

Rising star Dosem takes the next step on his way up to the top by announcing a new label, Houstrike.
Dosem has been steadily rising up through the house and techno ranks over the past decade. Over the years the Spaniard has released his own material on a number of big labels; Tronic, Suara and Toolroom to name a few, but now it’s time for Dosem to take the reins with his own label project.
Houstrike is the name and the ethos is all about “creative freedom, breaking rules and inner revolution”. This creative freedom will give Dosem the space to experiment and hone his individual sound without having to please anyone else. As such, the material will exclusively focus on his own original production, though he hasn’t ruled out the odd collaboration or two! Given the ethos of this new venture, don’t expect every track to be geared for the floor, rather Houstrike will point more towards the b-side and album styled tracks. So expect tracks with substance and emotion and not just a bloody good beat.
The imprint has a clear focus; music that has soul, passion and ambition that will drive each release to be special. Hear what Dosem had to say about label relations and more when we last caught up with him.
