Parlement release 'Little Liar' official video

Indie | Wednesday 15th July 2015 | Francesco

Parlement's new single 'Little Liar' follows the realases of 'Blood' and 'Legend' and has got the support of local UK radios. It has now a sustained online presence and many have compared the band to indie artists like The Dandy Warhols, Belle and Sebastian and The Charlatans.

The band is a Spanish based garage rock outfit consisting of singer-songwriter Stefan Robert, Carlos Arroniz on drums, Raül on bass and Javi Bueno on lead guitar. They have clearly listened to some of the best rock bands of the late eighties and early nineties because Be Machinery/ You Oughta Be In Pictures is a result of these different influences. Stefan Roberts sings beautifully on 'Little Liar', making you want to listen to the song all over again.  Javi Bueno can play some stadium rock licks, chops and solos, which are easily combined with Carlos' thumping out powerhouse drumming and Raül's Latin bassline.

‘Falling from Heights’ has a great American folk rock vibe that easily connects with grooves of bands like REM, and ‘You On Mind’ has a fast and heavy intro with lots of bass, beats and guitars, with powerful lyrics like “I am going to find myself a whore, and do her all night long, with you on my mind”.
