The Prototypes ‘Pop It Off’ on Viper

The Prototypes have 3 out of the top 10 best selling Beatport d&b tracks of 2014. Brighton based producer & DJ Chris Garvey and Nick White are a real force in the scene, but with their debut album City of GOLD
being released on Viper Recordings in May, they are about to go stratospheric. 'Pop It Off' is the third single from the album, available from the 3rd May, featuring the vocals of Trinidad and Toboggan artist, Mad Hed City.
In typical Prototypes dance-floor anthem style, this one is sure to become a DJ's favourite. Twisted baselines and sharp beats are topped off with a dancehall vocal that will have the ravers skanking. The package also comes backed with a remix from hotly tipped Black Butter artist Jaded. The Jaded remix uses the awesome Mad Hed City to great effect by dropping the pitch and reworking the original elements into a bass house banger!
The Prototypes are currently traveling the world on a City Of Gold album tour, which has included their album launch at Electric Brixton in London and Coalition in their home town of Brighton, along with a 13-city tour of North America. Full tour dates on their official website.
