J. Cole – 'Forbidden Fruit' ft. Kendrick Lamar

Last night (Thursday 6th June) J. Cole held a listening session for his new album 'Born Sinner' set to drop on June 18. The session was intended for the press and various media but Cole isn't one to leave his fans out so he released a list of locations where the LP could be streamed by the public, they included Atlanta, Boston, New York, Chicago, Toronto, Houston, Los Angeles and Cole's native Fayetteville, North Carolina.
We've seen this done by Kanye with his 'New Slaves' Premier a few weeks ago (coincidentally 'Yeezus' and 'Born Sinner' both drop on June 18) but Cole's execution was a little more involved. Tweeting his fans to bring "1. iphone fully charged, 2. with LSNR app downloaded and enabled, and 3. favorite pair of headphones," the album premier was streamed onto phones via the LSNR app. I doubt any of our readers managed to make it to the streamed premier (but if you did, awesome) but thankfully for us someone's managed to rip a track and put it online. It features Kendrick on the chorus and a sweet jazz sample, 'Mystic Brew' by Ronnie Foster, that some may recognise from A Tribe Called Quest's 'Electric Relaxation'.
