Modest Mouse Cancel Europe / UK Tour

Modest Mouse have cancelled their EU/UK Tour to work on a new album.
On a press release issued on their site and twitter page, the band announced:
After much thought, we have decided to cancel our EU/UK tour to continue work on our forthcoming album. We will make it up to you next year.

They were scheduled to play in various venues around Europe and UK including the Roundhouse, Brixton o2 Academy and various festivals including Rock Werchter, T in the Park and Longitude Festival.
According to the site, “Refunds will be available at the point of purchase”.
The band will be working to the follow up to 2007’s ‘We "Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank’ and is expected to be released in 2014
