Ghost Poet (Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam)
This album has some great reviews from the likes of Metacritic who rated it 78/100 and Amazon who also rated it as number 18 in its top 100 albums to of the year. The production on the album is a fusion of electronic house, reggae and hip-hop and perfectly shows off Ghost- Poet’s lyrical ability. Ghost Poet’s stand out track on the album is “Cash and carry me home” This track has a cool video, and perfectly shows Ghost’s ability to connect with the listener with close up visuals and animated artistry. The tack has meaningful lyrical flows and catchy hooks and portrays the rapper in a good light.
Overall this album is worth checking out if your lacking in something a bit different from the usual hip-hop.
