Mayer Hawthorne live at XOYO.

It's been two long years since Mayer Hawthorne came to our shores.
The Detroit based singer is yet to release his third studio "Where Does This Door Go?" which is scheduled for June 16th on Stones Throw.
A Strange Arrangement - His debut was released in 2009, was a stand out; With hits like Maybe So, Maybe No, Just Aint Gonna Work Out, and Your Easy Lovin' Aint Pleasing Nothin'. Mayer toured the country just after this release with his band 'The County', the shows were outstanding.
Then came How Do You Do, his second studio album, with collabs from Snoop Dogg and Jazzy Jeff. The album was his best to date, with an extremely high budget video for 'The Walk'; a take on Mr & Mrs Smith.

Mayer recently teamed up with Jessie Ware for his new song 'Her Favourite Song'.
