This Video of a 90-Year-Old Granny Using the Oculus Rift Will Make You Wanna Get One For Your Granny

Ahh, old people. You just gotta love how they react to modern technology (You mean you only use your fingers and there are no buttons? What do you mean Skype is free?). Case in point – this 90-year old grandmother, who is melting viewers’ hearts (and creating great publicity) simply by marvelling at the awesome technology that is the Oculus Rift.
For the uninitiated, the Oculus Rift is a head-mounted display that allows users to experience virtual reality. In the video, the granny goes through the Tuscany demo on the Oculus Rift, courtesy of her techie grandchildren. Watch as she spouts great quotes such as “Oooh Ahhhh” and “Holy mackerel!” while enjoying watching virtual leaves fall in virtual Tuscany.
I wonder what would’ve happened if she got shown Doom instead.
