Heights are back with their brand new album 'Old Lies For Young Lives' which will be released April 29th through Transcend Music. The first release of the album 'Eleven Eyes' (featuring Sam Carter of Architects) was played last week on the Radio 1 Rock show with Daniel P Carter and has received a fantastic response so far.
The new album was recorded and produced by the notorious John Mitchell and Ben Humphries of Outhouse Studios who have worked alongside the likes of You Me At Six, Enter Shikari, Architects, Funeral For A Friend and many more.
After the departure of their vocalist Thom Debaere, Alex Monty stepped up from bassist to vocalist. Monty explained that the newest album is 'naturally a big departure from the first album Dead Ends', it's not just 10 songs that are all singles shoved together on an album, it's more of a progression that reflects our lives and our experiences.'
Heights are currently on a UK tour with Your Demise, catch them at the following dates:
Wed 20 – NEWCASTLE, Academy 2
Thu 21 – NORWICH, Waterfront
Fri 22 – NOTTINGHAM, Rescue Rooms
Sat 23 – LONDON. Garage
