Looking at the clouds, while lying on your carpet Wednesday 27th February 2013 | Suzanne You might take a look at this picture and immediately think of it as a clear case of nifty Photoshop work. But that couldn't be farther from the truth. These are actual indoor clouds created by Dutch artist, Berndnaut Smilde. But how is something like this is even possible? The artist used a smoke machine to generate the clouds and had to carefully monitor the room's humidity and atmosphere for it to develop into an actual cloud. The artists also made careful use of lighting for the cloud look as genuine as possible. Well, one can say that it certainly is a remarkable piece of art that offers its viewer a surreal life experience. And who knows, it might be nice to look at a sky instead of a ceiling at home sometimes. By Suzanne Alblas
