BRIT Awards : Black & Gold

Better not to risk having your picture in the list of worst dressed in the newspaper the next day with ssome risky experimenting with strange colors ... with black you play it safe! Definitely the trend of yesterday's Brit Awards night at the O2 Arena, black dresses embellished with gold details were chosen by most of the female protagonists of the evening.
Emeli Sande did not dare wear an evening gown, deciding to wear a simple little black dress with a neck tie, before hitting the stage to perform Clown and Next To Me and winning big as Best Female Artist and Best Album of the Year!
Jessie Ware shows her belly in the two pieces by Miu Miu with gold baroque details on the cuffs, combined with Dominic Jones jewellery.
The winner of Best International Female. Lana Del Rey, wears a simple black belted dress by Chanel. Thinking of the the kind of evening it was, she certainly could try a little harder in the outifit's choice.
Amazing for its elegance and simplicity, Jessie J wore a Versace gown with a deep v-neck and Jimmy Choo shoes. The vintage jewellery from the 1980's is by Susan Caplan.
With an opposite trend, Delilah wears an austere nigh-neck, long-sleeved dress with an elegant view of the decollete by Michael Kors.
And then Taylor Swift, who during this awards season is giving us amazing dreamy dresses. She did not want to go too risky either and wore a beautiful black dress with gold belt by Elie Saab.
