Long Live The King!

Legendary rock guitarist Johnny Marr, who earned his status in 1982 when he and James Morrissey formed The Smiths, has since become one of the most influential people in modern rock music! Since the split of The Smiths in in 1987, Marr has been a part of Rock music either in the background, writing songs and playing with Kirstly MacColl or in the forefront, joining bands such as The Pretenders. Marr is also known to have mentored a young Noel Gallagher before Oasis were OASIS, so you can see that Marr has had a giant effect on the direction of music in the past 30 years. Even though he never really left the music scene, Marr is back relasing a solo album called The Messanger on February 26th and there's only one thing I can say to summarise how I feel; Pure excitement! Marr is also touring the UK and Ireland from March 10th, this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see one of the best rock guitarists ever.
