Atoms for Peace is today’s most anticipated indie supergroup. If you’re a fan of Radiohead or its frontman Thom Yorke’s solo album Eraser, be sure to look out for this exciting new collaboration.
You might not have heard of them before, but you’ll probably recognise a couple familiar faces in Atoms for Peace. Yorke and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist Flea are teaming up with long time Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and percussionist Mauro Refosco to form this ensemble. Also making up this supergroup is Joey Waronker, who made his name drumming for Beck and R.E.M.
Atoms for Peace is expected to release its debut album Amok on 25th February. After Yorke’s cliffhanging tweets caused a tour buzz, three live dates are now confirmed. So expect to see Atoms for Peace in London, Berlin or New York, for one night only in each city. Don't be that guy who misses out.
Have a listen to Amok’s lead single ‘Judge Jury and Executioner’ below. Let us know what you think!
