Calories are a British indie rock band formed in 2008. They have released their third and latest album ‘DMT’. They are a powerful band that produces ‘boisterous gang vocals’ along with some serious riffs and catchy chorus tunes. Their live shows are energetic and innovative and this is what attracts crowds to them. Their new album is exactly like what you’d expect from them. This is one band that gets their music dead-on; they produce rock music with post-hardcore tunes, distorted riffs and heavy vocals, their songs sound somewhat punkish; something that not many bands can pull off. Their new album just placed them on a whole new level and that’s why these guys are the Band of the Month.
