Tagged as "poppy, art-rock quartet", Walk the Moon, who got their name from The Police’s album, will be performing at Scala the 27th February as the closing act of their UK tour, which has also take them to Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol and Birmingham. The band, known for painting their faces for live performances, is formed by Nicholas Petricca (vocals/synths), Kevin Ray (bass) and Eli Maiman (guitar). Before hitting the Uk, they have been touring the States and after, they will continue spreading their music around Europe. After releasing their debut album a few months ago, they are bringing to London the best of their “swirly pop beats, infectious guitar riffs, and loud, sing-a-long choruses". If you are attending to this gig, get ready for dance, jump and sweat, as their melodies are powerful and cheering, specially some of their gems such as ‘Anna Sun’, ‘Shiver Shiver’ or ‘Jenny’.
