That Dope Boy Drops Another Dope Mixtape

RnB/Hip Hop | Thursday 15th November 2012 | Osh

Frenchy's long awaited Coke Boys 3 hit the streets earlier this year and it must be said: It's rather good.
Frenchy sticks to the formula; kick-drum beats, punctuated by the occasional 'Ow' and unapologetic bars.  Featuring a who's-who of new hip-hop, including Rick Ross, Mac Miller, and the LEP Bogus Boys, this album has its standout tracks.
Everywhere We Go tells a story of them having hoes erm, everywhere they go. But the track's production gives it that kind of mid-90's hip-hop feel (the track sample's Wu Tang Clan's C.R.E.A.M)with a new twist to it, while Frenchy croons "I got hoes, I got ho-o-o-o-oes" over the track's hook.
Celebration is a track to bump to; that grinding crunk music you'd come to expect on a French Montana joint.  Drank, Smoke featuring Mac Miller has that deep thumpy beat that will have you nodding your head, with a smooth mellow grove riding the baseline.
Husband and Wife is a bashment tune collaboration with Nawlage who wrote the original song. Frenchy's bars merge with the tune seamlessly and I predict this dropping heavy in the bashment raves.
The by-now-familiar Ballin' with Rick Ross is bass upon bass (the way we like our crunk). Charlie Hustle attacks his verse like a pittbull while Rick Ross speaks like a boss on the beat.
All in all: another dope record.
