Hot off the press: Hospital Records welcome Metrik into the family
Otherwise known as Tom Mundell, the young artist has been making a real name for himself since first emerging onto the scene back in 2007.
He was snapped up by Futurebound on Viper Recordings, releasing his first single 'Moving On'/ 'Stranger' to much critical acclaim. Following on from that, Tom worked with the likes of ShockOne and Phetsa and released further gems 'Anthem' and 'Lightspeed.'
Last year turned out to be huge, with EP 'Between Worlds' delivering the incredible 'I See You' (featuring Kathy Brown), which has been dropped by countless DJ's across the globe. He has been in huge demand in terms of remixes and I was fortunate to catch him last month in Brighton, where he played one of the most euphoric and freshest sets I had heard in a while.
Hospital will no doubt continue to nurture his talent and I for one look forward to seing what he delivers as we enter 2013.
