Smoke and Jackal, a collaboration that left mixed reviews

The collaboration between Kings of Leon’s bassist Jared Followill and Mona’s singer and guitarist Nick Brown, has brought a debated EP. EP No.1, released last month, is a six track EP which has been tagged as “not as much as was expected” or “too weak”. The most celebrated track is No Tell, but the lyrics are not at the high of the melody, and had been accused of being to vulgar, which I agree.
Anyway the EP sounds good, maybe to chill for a side project of a member of one of the most potent indie bands of the moment. As Followill said to the press, they took "such an easy approach to it, we didn't bring any egos to it. We just talked about each other's ideas, neither one of us got our feelings hurt. It just worked." Well that is for the audience to say. So I invite you to judge yourselves.
