From Brooklyn all the way to your ears - New EP from Free Magic & JKriv

Straight from Brooklyn’s emerging label Discovery Recordings comes the new EP from Free Magic & JKriv. The two producers comfortably mix the genres of jazz, funk, soul and disco to create a familiar house but one that is still wonderfully fresh.
The three tracks on their new EP have a distinctly retro vibe. The first song on the EP ‘Catalano’ is a perfect early in the night track; it channels an almost Hot Chip-esque feel expanding its appeal beyond dedicated house lovers. From then on the EP escalates with sounds that will keep you listening all through the night and into the day light. XLR8R gave it a 7.5/10 and in our opinion it’s definitely worth a listen.
