MTV EMA 2012 Will Be Hosted By Heidi Klum

MTV has confirmed that the 2012 EMAs will be hosted in Frankfurt by German supermodel Heidi Klum.
MTV simply loves having beautiful women hosting their star-studded event and hey...we love it too, with past hosts including, Selena Gomez, Eva Longoria and Katy Perry. This year, Klum is seriously excited to be hosting the 19th annual award, she said: “The MTV EMA is one the biggest nights in global music, fashion and culture, and I’m thrilled to play a part of bringing the one-of-a-kind show to audiences all over the world. We’re going to have a blast.”
The Project Runway host is originally from Bergisch Gladbach, which is just a couple of hours outside of Frankfurt, this has of course added to Klum’s enthusiasm of being part of the event: “I’m honoured to host the 2012 MTV EMA in its return to my home country of Germany.” Heidi is no stranger to having all eyes on her, she made a career of it as an international supermodel, so there’s no doubt that she’ll take to the historic Festhalle stage like a fish to water.
Rihanna and Taylor Swift are flying high in the nominations list with Rihanna receiving six nods and Taylor five; Katy Perry and Justin Bieber aren’t trailing too far behind with each getting four nominations. Other artists being given the nod include, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Fun., One Direction, Gotye, Rita Ora, Jay Z and Kanye West.
