Hey Sholay - Our weekend anthem

Back by popular demand- a few people in the office and mum, I bring you our Indie anthem for the weekend. According to the weather forecast Autumn is well and truly here this weekend and so today I thought I’d give you something that might brighten the weekend up a bit.
The weekend anthem comes from Hey Sholay’s debut album ((O)). I’ve been waffling on about this album all week because quite frankly it’s great. Even the neighbour’s dog’s bark has come to have a cheery disposition.
This track “Burning,” my favourite from the album just has a lovely upbeat melody that is impossible to sit still too. Friday morning hurt. I did not wake up with the Friday feeling, maybe it was all the mars ice creams I ate before bed or perhaps it was my lack of sleep- either way I wasn’t feeling it. On listening to this track however I felt a cheeky grin tiptoe its way onto my face.
Now the lyrics ‘The house is burning,’ aren’t exactly chipper but somehow this song makes it work.
So have a listen and tell us what you think of this heart-warming track.
