The electronic music band from London is releasing an expanded version of their last work In Our Heads on 19th November.
As it’s said in their website, the expanded edition features both the original album plus a bonus disc of: “demos, rare studio track ‘Jelly Babies and Doctor’, as well as new and exclusive previously unreleased remixes from Optimo, Daphni, Charlie Fracture and Major Lazer”. This new version of their self-produced fifth studio album, which was released on 11th June 2012 by Domino, will be available digitally and on a double CD.
The band is also shaking the UK with a one-off vinyl party at the Oxfam shop in Dalston, London on 27th September, as part of the Oxjam Festival. They will be sharing the night with The 2 Bears, Four Tet and Simian Mobile among others. They will also be touring next month in Folkstone, Norwich, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, Southampton and London.
The band, which has been nominated for Grammy, Mercury and Virgin awards, is currently in Mexico, where they are going to perform tomorrow in the Pepsi Centre. Unfortunately, one of the band’s member, Felix Martin, suffered an appendix problem and had to be hospitalized, but is stable now and won’t affect to the show, the band said.
