Shakira's Baby Joy

The ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer posted on her website: “As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!”.
Shakira and international footballer Pique met back in 2010 when he appeared in the video for Waka Waka (This Time Is Africa), which was the theme song for the South African World Cup. Their relationship however, wasn’t confirmed until March 2011, when a picture was posted on Facebook with the caption: “I present you my sunshine.”
The Columbian has decided to postpone some of her upcoming promotional activity, including the iHeartRadio Music Festival which is taking place this weekend in Las Vegas, so that they can have some time to enjoy this moment in their lives.
Along with Usher, Shakira was recently confirmed as a judge for the 2013 spring season of The Voice (US), so at least she’ll be off her feet in one of those big red chairs while enjoying her pregnancy. Congratulations Shakira! Here’s a bit of Waka Waka to wake you up this morning:
