We here at Guestlist are super pumped to present to you a weekend of excellent live music from some of the world’s GREATEST acoustic guitar players and singer/songwriters all on London’s front door. What more could you ask for?
The London Acoustic Guitar Show will not fail to impress with a stonking good line-up for audience young , old and that bit in between. This is your one and only chance to see so much talent on one stage – hopefully not all at the same time. The show takes place at Olympia conference centre on the 22nd and 23rd of September and is set to be a performance of triumphant measure.
Organiser and Acoustic magazine editor Guy Little commented that, "We wanted to go the extra mile for 2012 - and that's exactly what we've done. We've gathered some of the world's finest acoustic guitar players and put them all under one roof. There's a real mix of artists catering for people of all ages and ability level, from chart-topping acts like Newton Faulkner, Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Feeder right through to the likes of Andy McKee, Laurence Juber, Gordon Giltrap and Jon Gomm.”
And with a line-up like that it’s hard to not be impressed. But hold your boots you acoustic junkies not only can you bask in the awesome talent of these performers but have a go yourself, with informative clinics in the Master class Suite. AND that’s not it - you can leave behind the keys to the delorean as the festival brings you the Acoustic café stage for emerging talent.
This show is sure to be a top weekend for acoustic guitar lovers and novices all over the UK. You cannot deny the incomparable sounds of an acoustic guitar on a chilled weekend set to wet your musical appetite.
With so much going on, this year, the Acoustic guitar show and magazine really have set a bench mark to impress ready for 2013; even releasing a bumper issue of the magazine with an exclusive interview from Andy McKee.
