“The Kids Who Are Sick Cannot Do Their Hip Hop Anymore”
Originally a musical, stand-up comedy duo, from New Zealand, ‘Flight of the Conchords’ has been a hit worldwide thanks to their comedy tv series set on the streets of New York. Well known for their hilarious spins on all genres of music with songs such as ‘The Hiphopopotamus vs the Rhymenocerous’ and ‘Business Time’, the boys have had a stream of success.
For the first time since they parted ways three years ago, the boys are back to raise awareness for a good cause with their very own charity tune collaboration and who better to ask for assistance than other young children of the nation who are all eager to help? The result is a hysterical set of lyrics written by 7-10 year olds and ways to think outside the box in order to raise sufficient funds for all the sick children, estimated to be about ‘One million and a hundred and ten and twenty one dollars’.
Add to the mix several other known New Zealand artist such as soulful singer Brooke Fraser and notable rapper Savage, as well as a break down clap section that is enough to rival “Do They Know It’s Christmas” and you have a final product that will make you laugh out loud and hopefully urge you to donate.

So please, in the words of a young primary student in New Zealand, “Helpa, Helpa, Helpa the Kids.”
