New single 'Madness' by Muse online now – listen here

Muse unveil the second single from the album The 2nd law called 'Madness'. The first song tp be heard of the album, 'Survival', is in everyone's ears since the Olympics for it was the event's official single.
As both songs are as atmospheric and (yes, that's what we love about Muse) quite histrionic, subtle 'Madness' has much more of a pop vibe going on while 'Survival' captured the competetive nature of the Olympics and sounded slightly unsettling and cabalistic. The new single also sees the band sporting a dubstep sound that suits their already diversified music very well.
The album will be released on October 1st and it will be interesting to see how these two songs blend in the record as a whole – and how their sound has altered since the last album The Resistance in 2009.
