Ether 2012 Festival

Southbank Centre's annual music festival of innovation, art, technology and cross-arts experimentation, Ether, returns this autumn with second to none collaborations and groundbreaking work.
Just as it has for the past 11 years, the two-week series of concerts will run the range from contemporary classical to futuristic electronic performance, all taking place at various spaces in the Southbank Centre. Headliners include former Velvet Underground member John Cale, Battles frontman Tyondai Braxton and the Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble. Australian Dance Company Chunky Move will deliver a piece called Mortal Engine, which features music from electronic producer Ben Frost. Also, the work of minimalist innovator John Cage will be performed.
The Ether Festival runs from Friday the 5th of October - Saturday the 20th of October 2012 at the Southbank Centre. Check available tickets and latest news on Southbank Centre website.
