This August Bank Holiday is set to be one of the best ever. Now, the UK’s primary pop party starter and alternative clubbing institution, Sean Rowley’s Guilty Pleasures presents the Guilty Pleasures Cinema Party, a brand new cinema and party concept that brings the worlds of music, cinema, cabaret, dance, performance and pop together for two nights at East London’s stunning Troxy Cinema.
And, to celebrate – and discover the nation’s favourite guilty pleasure movie, Time Out has launched a poll: www.timeout.com/guilty-pleasures. You can vote for your favourite from a list of 30 of the most gloriously over-the-top, fuzzily heart-warming, overly emotional and downright fun guilty pleasure films in the history of cinema. And the winning film will be played at the NEXT Guilty Pleasures Cinema Party, coming soon!
The Top 30 guilty pleasure films have been chosen by Guilty Pleasures expert Sean Rowley, alongside Time Out and MGM HD. With a mixture of chick flicks, macho movies, retro classics and timeless comedies there is something for everyone.
The two-night Guilty Pleasures Cinema Party in conjunction with Time Out Live and MGM HD, is set to be spectacular. With a solid six hours of pop playtime: singing, dancing, fancy dress, games, dance-offs, live bands, DJs and a movie, all on the same night! Guilty Pleasures Cinema Party is set to transform the Troxy and brings the silver screen to life for two spectacular parties. It’s more than a club; and more than a movie night!
