Making every beat matter, they're production on this album is world class and so are there features. From D12, Sean Strange, Tribeca, Mykill Miers and many many more that are too long to mention. The album released on the 17th of July is 32 tracks deep and each one is of inspirational quality. They’ve made a truly hard bodied piece that will continue to get respect throughout the underground Hip Hop scene. This album is really for the fans as the snowgoons decided to make it extra-long with a diverse lyrical playlist, just like a mix-tape. They got the right rappers that complemented most of their productions. D12 even made a video for the tune, “The Rapture” which was produced by the snowgoons and vocaled by Meth Mouth, Bizarre and Swifty Mcvay alongside king gordy and sean strange, which I personally thought out performed D12 on this one LMFAO. The opening tune, “snowgoons dynasty” gives you a short preview of the lyricism your about to encounter. This is an album for the die-hard Hip Hoppers and Beat Boppers. The old skool vibez take you back to the 90’s when Hip Hop was the Ish! However it’s up to date and still relevant.
For those who don’t know who these guys are, you need to listen to their music and get to know what they're about. This European group from Germany consists of DJ illegal and Det who are the original members of Snowgoons, founded in 1999. Sicknature, DJ waxwork and js Kuster later joined the crew in the 2000’s. Waxwork left in 2009 after a year with snowgoons making some crazy ish. This didn’t effect there work rate however, they just kept coming out with more and more quality productions every year. Giving there fans something to talk about. They are well recognised in the underground hip hop scene and they're bound to make money anywhere they go. A classical and orchestral style has become signature to the European way of producing and these guys have mastered it and more. Sampling from epic pieces, compiling truly masterful works of art as usual! Some of my track favourites’ include “The Cypher”, “Cardiac Rhythm”, “Get Down”, “Hood Ikon”, “That’s Me” and “The Rapture”. That’s my personal taste, but there’s something on there for every hip hop lover as my favourite tunes seem to change every time I listen to the album, LOL.
