Sorry Ms Jackson: Violent Altercation Over MJ's Will
Wednesday 25th July 2012 | Osh
Sadly it seems that turmoil in the Jackson family has not been put aside in the three years since family member Michael’s death. Yesterday in Michael Jackson’s estate an altercation allegedly took place in which three of Michael’s siblings; Jermaine, Randy and Janet, converged on Michael’s children; Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket in a dispute that ended in response from the police after complaints of a physical altercation. What happened to being a lover, not a fighter?
ABC chat program , Good Morning America, have posted a video, claimed to be taken from a security camera. In this footage the siblings enter Michael’s estate by following the children in an SUV.
Once in the estate the trio apparently tried to take the children’s cell phones and it is believed that Janet called her niece Paris a ‘spoiled little b****’ before slapping her. Paris then responded with a slap of her own, telling Janet: ‘This is our house. Not the Jackson family house. Get the f*** out!’
Outside the house it seems Jermaine and Randy also got into a physical altercation with Trent Jackson the son of Jackson 5 member Tito, who has apparently been trying to help his young cousins.
This is all in a fight for Michael Jackson’s estate, which has earned almost $500million in profits since his death.
The apparent stress of this brewing conflict over the Will caused Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother, to escape to Arizona about ten days ago. Apparently without notice as Paris Jackson took to Twitter to claim she hadn’t seen her grandmother in nine days and the family reported her as missing. This was until Katherine revealed in a photo that she was happily having a break away from the chaos by playing Uno. Who could blame her?
However this disappearance has meant that the children’s court-appointed attorney, Margaret Lodise, has taken steps toward taking over the children’s guardianship, as their guardian has now been absent for over a week and since this recent altercation has claimed that the children ‘aren’t safe’ around the Jackson Family.
This issue over the will stems from the Jackson siblings believing executors of the Jackson estate, lawyers John Branca and John McCain, to have concocted a scheme in which they forged Michael’s signature on a will, putting them in place as administrators of the estate. This has been proved false in court.
Branca and McCain, in light of this have released a joint statement in which they said “We are acutely concerned about the welfare of Mrs. Jackson, and most particularly with Michael's minor children. We are concerned that we do what we can to protect them from undue influences, bullying, greed, and other unfortunate circumstances.”
"While we do not have standing to directly intervene, we have monitored the situation and will continue to do so. We believe measures are being put in place that will help protect them from what they are having to deal with."
The pair are currently fighting for Tito Jackson’s son, Tito Junior, to receive temporary guardianship of the children.
And you thought your family had problems.
