Little Boots: Headphones

Britain’s favourite electro-pop singer/songwriter Victoria Hesketh aka Little Boots is back with a fun filled tune about keeping your headphones on at the disco! The song is an upbeat disco track with a video featuring people dancing like no one is watching. This song is a little bit 80s dance and a little bit cheesy pop, a guilty pleasure but perfect for what it was intended: dancing. Little Boots claims she wanted to avoid the clichés of many current club themed videos.
"The inspiration for the video was partly from the Wim Wenders film Paris Texas and the idea of a peep show revolving around headphones and listening to music as opposed to talking. The idea is that everyday characters enter a booth and on listening to the song their extrovert selves appear in the reflection, so the song is a way of releasing their inner selves and setting the crazier side of them free.”
The pint size singer releases this as the third track of her still unnamed new album, which is expected in the fall. It follows Every Night I Say A Prayer, a nod to her hero Madonna. Catch Little Boots at Lovebox festival and if you are lucky enough to be jetting abroad, she can be found at Benicassim and Melt festivals.
