Enter Shikari are set to play host to Tunbridge Wells Forum, which has just been named Britain’s Best Small Venue. The St. Albans Trance/Screamo/Rock band will play a free show at the forum on the 5th of June.
Tunbridge Wells Forum, with its intimate 220 capacity, was named Britain’s Best Small Venue by NME magazine, in association with JD Roots after a nationwide poll. The magazine is also giving away 50 pairs of tickets to the gig, and entrants have until just the 25th of May to be in with a chance. More information can also be found in this week’s issue of NME magazine, which hits stands tomorrow.
Indie-Rockers the Cribs are also set to pay tribute to the small venue and supporting local or up-and-coming music. The band will play Wakefield's Theatre Royal on the 16th of May, with The Horrors and Twin Atlantic
Hopefuls can head to www.NME.COM/Win for tickets.
Tunbridge Wells Forum was named Britain’s Best Small Venue on the 8th of May, after being shortlisted. Judges included Frank Turner, T in the Park promoter Geoff Ellis and Radio 1’s Huw Stephens.
After releasing ‘A Flash Flood of Colour’ in January this year, Enter Shikari are sure to propel their ant-politics views onto the lucky few who win tickets.
