“Some street photographers hide behind phone booths like paparazzis so their subject won’t be aware of their presence, but for Stanton it’s precisely that awkward interaction, the tearing down of the wall between strangers, that he covets.” -The Huffington Post
High-flying Trader turned Street Photographer Brandon Stanton shares the looks and lives of the amazingly creative, diverse and eccentric people he sees out and about in New York City. His portraits range from the cute, to the hilarious, to the strangely moving, and they always get you thinking about the lives of the people involved.
Street performers, playing children, couples growing old together, and style icons. Brandon's photography shines a light on humanity itself, in all its variety and beauty. But I won't get too emo on you, the man just takes great photos! And tells some great stories about the people he meets along the way. Check it all out at http://www.humansofnewyork.com/
