Scott Mills Axed From Radio 1

In a shake up to attract younger listeners, the popular host has been axed from his drive time show after eight years.
Mills has swapped with Greg James and will take over his slot from 1-4pm on April 2. He has been silent over the matter.
James on the other hand is really excited about the opportunity. He said in a statement ‘My dream job just keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait to get going with the new show.’
There have also been other changes including Edith Bowman moving, Jameela Jamil hosting the Radio 1 request show, and fresh talent in the form of Danny Howard.
The intention is to attract more young listeners by introducing young and fresh talent to the show.
