They make it sound so easy
Sir Mick Jagger recently formed a new band ‘Superheavy’ along with the unlikely bunch of David Stewart, Joss Stone, Damien Marley and A.R Rahman. According to Jagger the first single ‘Miracle Worker’ an unexpected reggae style pop song, came together so easily. He said it was different because none of them knew each other very well, they didn't rehearse or have anything written. Basically they all sat around jamming, making it up as they went along and the lyrics just went along with the melody. David Stewart commented that he was worried the group wouldn’t gel as they are all from such different backgrounds but was pleasantly surprised, as soon as they began playing all of their different styles just seemed to fit together.
SuperHeavy's first album is set to hit stores on September 20.
